SUMMARY:Family Ice Fishing Day
DESCRIPTION:It’s Family Day out on the ice! Treat yourself to this local winter tradition and learn all about ice fishing from expert instructors. We will cover the equipment used\, fishing techniques and ice safety out on Wirth Lake. Learn about water ecology and lake life under the ice from MPRB Environmental staff. There will be limited heated shelters for participants to share. There will be limited heated shelters for participants to share. And if you’re lucky you will catch (and release) your very own fish. All family groups are welcome to enjoy this day on the ice! Please register for this event. Time slots available at 10am – noon\, 12:30 – 2:30 pm\, and 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Class meets at the Theo Wirth boat launch.
