    Step onto the ice. Join a movement of repair across Silverwood’s frozen lake. This Valentine’s Day, interdisciplinary artist and choreographer Victoria Bradford Styrbicki will perform a semaphore-inspired dance in an in response to the distress of our waterways — sending signals that ask: How do we move through this? Come witness and receive these messages, and signal back with hope and care.

    Theodore Wirth Park Boat Launch 3130 Glenwood Ave, Golden Valley, MN, United States

    It’s Family Day out on the ice! Treat yourself to this local winter tradition and learn all about ice fishing from expert instructors. We will cover the equipment used, fishing techniques and ice safety out on Wirth Lake. Learn about water ecology and lake life under the ice from MPRB Environmental staff.
