Where There is Water
Where There Is Water showcases paintings, prints, and drawings developed through repeated travel to Duluth, Red Wing, and Banning State Park near Sandstone. Big Year of Rivers Speaker Series – The Immortal Plastic Bottle
Join us for a presentation by Dr. Mary Kosuth — Educator at Dunwoody College and Research Scientist at the School of Public Health at the UMN. This presentation will cover the history of plastic, plastic pollution, and microplastic research. We will talk about what is known, what isn’t known, and what we can all do in the meantime. Registration required 24 hours prior.
The Sacred Water Shared Future campaign is powered by you! The heart of this centennial celebration is the incredible variety of events planned and hosted by our partners — community groups, nonprofits, businesses, schools, and individuals who feel a connection to the Mississippi River.
We do not host events ourselves; instead, we serve as a central hub for river-focused activities happening across the Twin Cities throughout 2026.
